Psalms Chapter 19
19:1
To the Director of Music:
A Psalm of David
19:2
The heavens are declaring the Glory of God,
And the firmament is publishing the work of His hands;
19:3
Day unto day it streams forth news,
And night unto night it is making knowledge known;
19:4
There is no utterance and there aren’t any words,
Without their voice being heard;
19:5
Through the whole earth their chord has gone forth,
and their sayings into the far reaches of the globe;
For the sun He has ordained a tabernacle within them;
19:6
And He is as a Bridegroom going forth from His chamber;
He is rejoicing as a mighty man to be running a track;
19:7
“From the edge of the heavens, from His going forth,
and His circuit unto their extremities,
There are none hidden from His Glow;”
19:8
“The Torah (instruction, direction) of Yehovah has integrity,
restoring a person;
The Witness of Yehovah is Faithfull,
Making wise one lacking wisdom;”
19:9
“The regulations of Yehovah are upright,
Making for a happy heart;
The commandment of Yehovah is pure,
Giving eyes light;”
19:10
“The reverential fear of Yehovah is pure,
enduring forever,
Yehovah’s Judgments are True;
They are altogether Righteous;”
Revelation 16:7 King James Version
“And I heard another out of the altar say,
‘Even so, Lord God Almighty,
true and righteous are thy judgments.’ ”
19:11
“They are desirable, more than gold,
Yea more than abundant pure gold!—
Moreover sweeter than honey,
Yea virgin liquid honey of a honeycomb!”
19:12
“Furthermore your servant
is being warned by them:
In retaining them,
The end result is great!”
19:13
“Who can discern strayful errors?!
Acquit me from hidden things!”
19:14
Moreover spare your servant from arrogancies,
Let them not have control over me then I will be unscathed;
And so I will be without blame,
From great transgression!”
Romans 12:3 King James Version
“For I say, through the grace given unto me,
to every man that is among you,
not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think;
but to think soberly,
according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.”
2 Samuel 6:16 King James Version
And as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David,
Michal Saul’s daughter looked through a window,
and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD;
and she despised him in her heart.
19:15
“According to the Divine Will and Favour may they be, —
The utterances of my mouth,
and the thoughts and music of my heart before Thee,
O Yehovah,
My Rock and my Redeemer!”
